Use case
A daily planner app that keeps your day realistic
A good daily plan is short. It knows what is already booked, picks the few things that matter and doesn’t lose what you didn’t finish yesterday. Rotyn is a daily planner built around that idea, on your phone, your computer and the web.
What a daily planner should do
Most people don’t need a longer list. They need to know, at the start of the day, what comes next and what can wait. A list that rolls over day after day turns into noise, and a planner that ignores your meetings plans a day you don’t actually have.
How Rotyn plans a day
- The Today screen shows the day’s tasks with tags and priorities, and what’s left from yesterday, ready to move, finish or drop.
- Plan my day is a one-minute ritual: it shows today’s meetings and asks for the three things you want to get done.
- The weekly review looks back at the week’s wins and misses and sets up the next one.
- Reminders arrive before meetings, and a summary of the day comes at the hour you choose.
- It works offline, and changes sync as soon as you are back online.
Free and Pro
Rotyn Free plans today and tomorrow, with up to 25 open tasks, tags and sync across the web, the installed web app, iPhone and Android. Rotyn Pro lets you plan any day and the whole week, and adds unlimited tasks, routines, Google Calendar, reminders, Plan my day, the weekly review, goals and the desktop app for Windows and Mac. Every new account gets Pro free for 14 days, no card needed.
Who Rotyn is not for
Rotyn is a planner for one person’s day. It has no shared projects, team assignments or Gantt charts, so if you plan work for a team, a project management tool is a better fit. Rotyn works well next to one: keep the team’s projects there and your own day here.
